![]() ![]() Lucky Star, High School Girls or Ichigo Mashimaro. Overall 18/20: I loved it and I just can't wait to watch the anime. They could have kept the color pages that are present in the original stand-alone volumes. It's sooo big that it is difficult to handle. The manga itself deserves 5 stars, as Azuma is hilarious in his writing and drawing. When I saw that this Omnibus was much cheaper, I decided to buy it. The pages are a bit bigger than in normal manga (23cm x 16cm), and 4 volumes in one makes it look like a dictionary. As a fan of Azumanga Daioh (the animation), I've been interested in reading the original manga, but the price of collecting all four volumes (around 30) was a barrier. ![]() ***īook Printing 14/20: Original Japanese right to left pages. ![]() ADV did great on capturing some specific Japanese language jokes. Too bad they removed Japanese cultural references, like the names honorifics and the well know kotatsu. Although sometimes Tomo's and Osaka's stupidity are just too much. And there are plenty of jokes that will make you laugh out loud. Story 18/20: The story focus on Chiyo-chan and her friends and teachers and some crazy cats, as the gang goes through highschool (freshman year until graduation). ![]()
